ONGOING CAMPAIGN VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

PHONER

We supply a script and lists of supporters (or suspected supporters) with phone numbers. You can call from your home or from the campaign office. Mostly we're phoning people to inform them of our campaign, to invite them to campaign events or public forums, or to ask them if they're interested in volunteering.

LEAFLETTER

We need hundreds of people to drop leaflets in people's mailboxes. We'll give you a map and stack of leaflets and away you go on your own time. We also need to people to leaflet at events like farmers markets, festivals etc; this requires some face to face contact with people.

OFFICE WORK
The office needs people to answer phones, clean up, cook/bake, greet people, run errands etc.

FUNDRAISING

We have a fundraising committee that needs support with organizing and working at events, phoning supporters, sending out letters, etc.

MEDIA

It's very important to track media coverage, identify concerns, write letters, etc.

COMPUTER SUPPORT
If you've got computer skills, we've got the need - web page, trouble-shooting, database, internet searching, desktopping/design, etc.

RESEARCH

Every issue we tackle in this campaign requires researchers to read reports, write summaries, track down info, interview/phone etc.

MISCELLANEOUS

If you've got a skill or passion, please share it with us! ie. artists, musicians, posterers, drivers with car, bicycle courriers... you name it!
