Over the next two months, leading up to election day on
Nov. 13, we will be unveiling our platform planks on the
issues. Every few days we will announce to the public, through
this website, via email, and through the media, our campaign
position on an issue of importance to the city.
We
will highlight what the problem is, what the opportunities
are, and what needs to be done.
Our
perspective will be global: what have other cities done?
What works? And our solutions will be practical, popular,
and affordable.
Platform planks are being developed on the following issues:
- smog
- homelessness
- business
taxes
- garbage
as a resource
- citizen
involvement in government
- Toronto
as a province
- tenant's
rights
- cleaning
up Lake Ontario
- working
with Youth for the future
- greening
the city with gardens and parks
- clean energy
like wind and solar

- TTC, bicycles
and good urban design

more.
