You have my vote. I have been looking
for, hoping for a mayor like you. Finally, you have
arrived! Best wishes to you. Let's make Toronto a
good place for all! Carol
Tooker, Congratulations on running the
most intelligent, decent, fun and socially-conscious
campaign ever. We are proud of your efforts. Martin
& Wendy
Tooker, we are proud of you guys. Thank
you for everything. The conscious 8.5% voted for you.
It is the 80% of the confused and unconscious we will
work on for the next time. Regards, Allan
Your web site looks excellent.. My vote
will be going to you on Monday.. I'm pleased to see
someone providing an alternative to the status quo.
Erin
Hello, I live in the states and one
of the things I liked about Toronto is it's people
and how wonderful of a city it is. After seeing the
politics of the U.S. all my life I find It refreshing
that someone like Mr. Gomberg has a love and respect
for Toronto to want to serve the people. Here in the
U.S.A. the people who run for office generally run
for themselves and not the people that elect them.
Please let me know if it is possible to get a T~shirt
here in the states. Thanks and good luck! Jeff R.

Initially, I was very disheartened by
the municipal election here in Toronto. I did not
hear about any candidates in the media and it appeared
that Mel Lastman would just slide in and win, with
no real competition. I was feeling very apathetic
and disappointed, as I have never agreed with Lastman's
view of Toronto. I have always been very political
and I was actually considering not voting for mayor
this year! My boyfriend brought your campaign to my
attention and since then, I have been reading whatever
I can about you in the media and on your website.
I now feel some hope. I agree with most, if not at
all, of your positions on the issues, such as homelessness,
poverty and transportation. (I don't know enough about
some issues to feel as if I can agree wholeheartedly
with everything!) I hope you win the election and
you certainly have my vote on November 13. Thank you,
Adrianna
